FTR, the last few BitPim releases (from 1.0.3 on) have actually included
a CLI, as documented at
http://www.bitpim.org/help/cli.htm ; however, it
just exposes the phone's raw filesystem, and doesn't cover the sorts of
high-level operations that you're asking about.
