I thought you JUST said you didn't think it needed to be under version control?? Or did you just mean the whole 1.5+GB ova file? :)

I was thinking it'd just live in the ova file for now until we had a need to do this again. If you want to put it in SVN, I'd not put it under trunk, though. It could live as a new top-level [1] module, named something simple with a path like /svnroot/brlcad/ova/trunk
