The bike path is generally deserted, and is in good repair.
Yes, they have a right to ride on the road, just as I have a right to
drive down it at 20 mph and let traffic back up behind me if I so
choose...but I don't so choose, because I'm not a selfish twit.
I don't get pissed at them for riding in the road when that's the only
choice...I get pissed at them for riding in the road and inconveniencing
everyone else when they have a perfectly good option that lets them ride
without inconveniencing everyone else. Falls was just one example.
MacArthur is another.

It's been tried. One guy down in Florida actually did it to a couple of
riders a few years ago. When he found out who he'd killed, he was
requesting a seat in "Ol' Sparky" rather than a life sentence...that
wasn't likely to be all that long. (if you don't remember the event, he
killed a couple of Outlaws).
