No, since the problem will remain in the data file. You can try to edit
the transactions in question, assign them a different payee manually and
then save them. Then do the same but using the correct payee. Once you're
done with all those 6 transactions, you should be able to delete the
payee. Please report back your findings.

I've just edited the xml file.
The payee reference is held in the Pair "kmm_matched_txt".
Deleting the payee and this pair seems to fix it.
I'll let you know if the problem recurrs.
