Could we have a confirmation from the volatile team and the release team
(Cc:ed) that regular uploads of usbutils will be accepted in volatile
and in updates of the stable distributions?

As far as I can read from this discussion, it seems ok to include these
into volatile and stable point releases similar to tzdata, indeed.
