I only asked because there is a known interaction between XIM and X11
threading support i.e. the two don't coexist. I asked about OpenGL
because on Macs that won't work with X11 threading support either.
Anyway I see from later posts that the problem is likely a bug in
Xorg and mouse grabs. Chances are that FOX /used/ to work perfectly
fine and then a later Xorg release broke it. This has already
happened - XIM, OpenGL and X11 threads all used to play well together
once upon a time.
