From my (minor) point of view: This is crucial. In fact, my impression is that
there are too few applications based on CGs. Already in 2000, M. L. Mugnier
had an ICCS paper concerning the question "where are we after 7 years of
ICCS", and she argued that the lack of applications is a drawback of our
community. Thus I am glad to hear that CGs are successfully used in your
industrial application.
After reading the press release, the canonical question now is: Do you have
anything like a whitepaper describing how CGs are used in your application?

P.S. I am very aware of the fact that esp. me did not contribute to any sort
of application. Instead, my CG research is theoretical (but the results could
be used for applications). Nonetheless, I dare to say that application are
needed ...
