Hi Josh,
Not if you use the same perl and install the perl libraries in the
default locations. GBrowse 1 and 2 have different versions of the
same libraries (like Bio::Graphics::Browser) and it will cause one of
them to crash (depending on which one you installed last). If you are
careful about where perl libraries go, then yes, they can be on the
same server.
