Its worked for me in the past.

on the mechanics behind it, but I think that gumstix-factory script is
old. The newer one supports mmc and cf. But it shows you the dirty details of
getting it working from scratch. I think a lot of this is no longer necessary,
but its been a while since I did it myself.

I have been working the WaySmall Basix 200 computer with a
1gb RS-MMC card using the serial connection and Windows XP HyperTerminal for
communications. I would like to know if we can boot directly from the MMC card
and how I can configure the system to do that. Thanks for your help.
