Hi Max

SPSS Clementine – now called PASW Modeler http://www.spss.com/software/modeling/modeler/ – is the SPSS Data Mining/Predictive Analytics workbench.

It shares many of the same algorithms as SPSS, Cluster Analysis being a case in point, but also has some different algorithms. More importantly it has a very different User Interface which is designed to map to the modelling process ( see http://www.crisp-dm.org/ ).

Hope this helps and happy to discuss in more details

Thanks

John

Subject: Clementine SPSS anyone?

Dear all,

I have a request about cluster analysis in ‘clementine spss’. Right now I am not even sure what is ‘clementine spss’. Has anyone come across it and how is it different from ‘normal’ spss?

Thanks,

Max
