I was able to fix this by changing website.defaultpageid to my
"sunsets" page. However, I can't get Roller to bring up my "Weblog"
page, even when I use /page/rd/Weblog. So it seems that it's
hardcoded that Weblog == defaultpageid.
I don't want to argue if this is a good idea or not - I'd rather just
fix my version to have different behavior (like v 2.0 had). How would
I go about doing this?
Also, it'd be nice if "Weblog" in "<< Weblog >>" was hard-coded to
"Weblog", "Main" or "Home". On mine, it shows "_sunsets", which looks
kindof silly. Sure I could rename it to "Weblog" or "Home", but then
it shows up in my menu bar, and I already have a "Home" that does the
same thing. Unlike many roller installations, the root (/) of my
domain redirects to the default weblog and I don't really care to
expose the list blogs (JRoller style) as my homepage.
Finally, the name and link fields on the Templates page are disabled
if you're editing Weblog or _day templates. To edit these fields,
save the template, and then they'll be enabled. Probably a bug, eh?
