Mike,
This is pretty uncharted territory. We haven't really spent any time
trying to get groovy working. It's very likely that we could get it
to work given worlds enough and time, but, unfortunately, it's not
something we're focussing on right now.
We are looking at Compass, but I fear that the groovy component of
what you are trying to do might not be something that will work at
this point. I think at this point, the only hope would be for you to
start digging into the Terracotta code (which may very well be beyond
the scope of what you're willing to do to get this stuff working).
Classloader complications can be pretty tricky.
