I have removed all but the bare minimum code and I am asking for you to look at this code. I have left only the property and
 GslComplex_Add() method in the c_complex.c file. My issue is that although I have defined "THIS" in the header file I get a null value for THIS in the GslComplex_Add method. Yet it is not null in the property methods. The c_complex.c and c_complex.h files have been committed to the repo for your convince. I have included most of your suggestions. The only thing I have not included is that I am still creating and returning a new object.

If you could provide me a better understanding as to why THIS is null in GslComplex_Add() I would be very grateful.
