We're at 3-400 feet so elevation isn't much of a problem for us. I have a Honda EU3000iS that lives at 3000 feet. I did put a smaller main jet in that one, I think it was part of a high elevation kit. That was several years ago so I may be wrong.
I know I said earlier that I was going to reinstall the spark arresters, I don't plan on it. Some people get a little bent out of shape when you say you're not going to run one. I have it removed from my 3000 and my other 1000. I just hadn't done it on this 1000 yet.
I believe the crank seal actually got pushed out of the block, but I'm not 100% on that. I wasn't there.
