I advanced this same suggestion about two years back when this feature first
appeared in NB 5.5. Nobody ever responded to my suggestion (and I should have
opened an RFE in bugzilla, but I did not).

I have been using JDO 1 since 2002 (KodoJDO from Solarmetric/BEA/Oracle), and
one of the very nice tools that product included was a code generator that
supported exactly the kinds of features that you mention. Specifically, I often
used the customization feature to change class names, field names and types, and
it even provided for the suppression of unneeded reverse mappings and such.

This would be an excellent addition to NB's entity class generation, IMO.
