I verified that the problem does NOT happen on Windows XP. It only is broken on Vista. I ran the same version of bitpim (1.0.1) with the same .csv file, and on XP, the csv file opened fine. On Vista the error that we've been discussing happens. --Matt
I have the same problem as phone_phreak does. The problem seems to be more difficult than Joe Pham suggests. We are not trying to open resources\\mozilla.pdc as an import file. We are trying to open some other .csv file, and bitpim wants mozilla.pdc for some reason, but claims it cannot open it. The file exists and is readable by everyone on my Vista system. --Matt
How did you fix this problem?
I am having the same difficulty in Vista. It's not a file permissions issue as far as I can tell.
Here is my error log:
BitPim version: 1.0.1-official
An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

BitPim claimed that such file does not exist. Try to export and
import a file from your local My Document dir.
