I do not necessarily need facelets 1.2 (I am currently using the draft 1.1.12).  The concern is that questions regarding the status of Facelets 1.2 and Facelets 1.1.12 (draft since December) have been asked a number of times but I do not recall seeing any answers.  I am sure there are good reasons why there are draft versions of 1.2 and 1.1.12 out there and it would be nice to know that work is still going on and that they are going to be released as stable versions at some point.
This is important to me since I just submitted a bug regarding the use of Facelets in portlets and I am concerned that this bug and any others will get addressed.
While I really like what I have seen in Facelets, the seeming inactivity makes be somewhat hesitant to recommend its use for a large development organization and that is unfortunate since I think it has a lot of benefits.
