Thanks John, but I'm afraid that a bit more hand holding might be
needed here. How do I tell if I have the javascript.options.strict set
to true? Though, using the web developer toolbar (am I allowed to
mention that here???) I go to disable > javascript > strict warnings
and select it (it wasn't selected before) this stops the problem dead.
This sounds like the same thing as you're asking, but I don't haven't
been able to find a way to access it other than through the Web
Developer toolbar.
Not sure what "Pls URL about:config for that setting" means.
However, all this may be moot. With Firefox 2.0.0.8 and Firebug
1.1.0b5 the problem appears have been resolved anyway.
