Hi Attila,

for the domain fornax-platform.org the ownership has changed and is pointing to the new server now. The services are not available there right now, and requests should be redirected for an intermediate time. I apologize that this lead to a downtime. I was on holiday and just coming back to work.

I hope this can be fixed ASAP, but likely not today :-( I already informed colleagues to help on this issue.

Hi All,

Is something happened to the Fornax repo? Is it working for you or there is some kind of problem?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you explain what changes are happening with the Fornax Maven repo?  We are seeing a really weird problem that appears to be contributed by the Fornax Maven repo.

The setup is that none of our POMs reference the Fornax repo directly.  Instead, our company's Artifactory caches artifacts from the Fornax repo as they are being requested.  This was working fine until today.  Now every time a user requests an internal artifact created by our company, it seems that the Fornax repo creates a new empty directory for that artifact (com.infor.xyz).  Then our Artifactory gets confused and thinks the Fornax repo owns our internal artifact and tries to request the jar from Fornax.  So the user gets a 500 error.  We have had to sever the link from our Artifactory to the Fornax repo to get around this problem, but we'll have problems finding oAW or Fornax artifacts.  Can you look into this?

Thanks!

We had exactly the same problem with our artifactory. I checked the offline option for the fornax repo cache in artifactory, and then I think it is ok for the moment.

But the fornax repo is unavailble and I think/hope Itemis is working on it.

Hi Patrik,

Thanks for your feedback.  I am glad to know that it wasn't just us that ran into this problem.  It was quite chaotic and confusing for us for a while.  Probably taking the cache "offline" would have been less drastic than what we did.  I had to upload the few Fornax artifacts that we need from my local Maven repo into our Artifactory so we can continue.

Thanks,
Polly

The Maven Repo is working again. The ownership of the fornax-platform.org domain has changed and with it the default IP. It had to be switched back to the old one until all services are migrated and redirects have been configured on the new server. Unfortunately our admin was ill yesterday when the change happened.

Sorry for this inconvenience.
