Hi Alex,

What is means is that there are no plans to introduce a maintenance
policy right now, but that we haven't ruled it on the future. If it
were to happen we would work with the community to find the best
balance, which is what SpringSource did for Spring. Although the
initial maintenance policy announced was flawed they addressed it and
provided a solution that made everyone happy.
