Not sure what's going on, but I bounced Apache and it seems ok now.  I have a terrible wifi connection right now (tethering it via my phone) so I can't dig in, but I'll be home tomorrow night...

On a similar note;
If one edits a post in the forums the drop-down above 'Leave shadow copy' (Forum:) is not populated with the setting it was before.  I am sure that the drop-down was set to the setting the post had when it was created.
Makes it a but of a pain to remove/set the comment settings.
