I don't have a Sero! to hand. However on my own standard phone there was a little tab on the main body of the phone that I rotated when mounting it on the wall. This provided a means of holding the handset in place more securely. Apologies if you have already thought of this but is there something similar on the Sero!?

The Possum Sero! is supplied with what Possum describe as a mounting bracket that attaches to the base of the telephone raising the telephone so that the display is tilted to around 45° - enabling a user to see the display when sitting.

Yesterday I set up a telephone with the mounting bracket for a client, however I discovered that the telephone handset became like a 'hair trigger'
on the hook switch.  The handset was so perfectly balanced that almost any vibration or movement of the telephone resulted in the display changing to being either on-hook or off-hook.
Correct replacement of the handset did not guarantee that it was on-hook.
As a result, it was impossible to know what state the Sero! was in; either on- hook or off-hook without looking at the display.
I had to remove the mounting bracket to alllow the Sero! to function properly.

As this is only the second Possum Sero! that I have set up, I was wondering if anyone else on AssisTech had noticed this problem or whether I have a 'rogue' 'phone?
