Hi Leigh,
A question is never stupid :-).
Two things :
- Are you launching Tomcat using the eXo.sh shell script ?
- If yes, could you try to export all the variables defined into that script ? We had some reports saying that this operation is needed in some environments. I'm not sure if this is fixed in the version you have.

I'm a total noob to configuring this stuff on Linux, so please bear with me
if my question is stupid.
I have got the portal all setup (Ubuntu, Tomcat 5.0.28, everything right
from the package provided by eXo), everything seems to be working
beautifully. and when I enter logon credentials it seems to log me on, and
then promptly forgets who I am, takes me back to the generic portal page,
and there is still a "sign in" button up top.
When I try and log on to the WebOS same thing happens, I enter "valud creds"
and it takes me to the generic anonymous portal page, and seems to have
forgotten who I am.
I tried to enter "bad" creds and it does kick those out as being bad.
I am sure this is just a crazy configuration issue on my part being new to
the technology. but can someone help a fella out?
thanks in advance.
Leigh.
