my bad, i meant html_mail. i installed aspell win32. i will check on the html_mail/config.php when i get home. i think that i read a post somewhere that you also need to set the path of aspell there?
yes, there are settings that set path to aspell. In html mode spellcheck also depends on used html editor. Try using spellcheck in fckeditor before checking if it works in htmlarea.
Make sure that you have installed aspell (Aspell-0-50-3-3-Setup.exe) and aspell dictionaries (aspell-en-0.50-2-3.exe).
