Hi -- We did take the edit option off of just the search result pages.
The reason for this is that our new search engine can take a few
minutes to update when items are changed, so you'd have a situation
where you would edit an item from the search results page, reload the
page, and still see the old data (in contrast, you would see the new
data on your own bookmarks page instantly).
We've heard feedback several times now that people want and need this
option anyway, so we're working on bringing it back, probably with
some sort of warning message so people understand why the changes
don't appear instantly in search results.
