The elements you are using need more properties than what you have defined, or are not suitable to your analysis, eg, using thermal elements for a structural analysis. A very silly error, but this has happened to me before so it's always good to recheck.
Some more information about the element type you have used and the material properties you have defined to go with it would be helpful for a better answer.

Hello

when I wad trying to submit a model for analysis i recieve an error as follows

"1200 elements have missing property definitions. The elements have been identified in element set ErrElemMissingSecti on.
Error in job 4: Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error.
Job 4 aborted due to errors."

I have defined the material and then seeded it and defined the element before meshing it.I have also tried defining the element before defining the material and still get the same error.I have also defined the sections and assigned it to the material. but i'm still receiving this error message

plz help to solve this for me.

elements missing property definitions can be found. after aborting the job, click on results and expand the .ODB file there you get the nodes and elements and we can get the different elements missing the property definitions.

prior to this, first job of a CAE engineer is to check the right element for the right simulation.

hello,
the error comes because you might not have updated the solid section or shell section for the element.please cross check the model and update this part of inp file
