Yes, I do.

Just need a complete set of tools, whether working for someone else or
so. Perhaps all this will be more feasible when v12 arrives, but for
the meantime, I expect to have to write some of my own.

Let me  know what you come up with. One of the changes that is biting
me on an upgrade is that Input Form([table];"nonexistantform") now
throws an error if the form doesn't exist. yet, there's no way to see
if the form exists before calling Input Form.

It's the 80% rule.

Well, the bits and pieces are out there.. I'm trying to figure out if
they can be put together into a cohesive set of code and methodology,
and along with third-party tools for other platforms, the germs of the
whole thing are starting to take place.

My current tool of choice for cross-referencing code is AutoDoc, from Committed.
http://www.committedsoftware.com/autodoc.html

I have not tried to use the XML portion of AutoDoc, but there are some
ideas there.

Also, for documenting structure schema etc. I'm looking at converting
the 4D structure into MySQL, and then using some better tools on that
side to do things. This may seem like a long-winded way to do things,
but it may give me ideas for what's missing on the 4D side.

Of course, all this would be more useful if we could collaborate, but
I'd prefer to avoid a publicly discussed forum where there's a lot of
talk and little action.

For things that don't work or are missing, I expect to start filing a
seriously long list of feature requests, now that 11.4 is out. That's
the benefit of being a Partner, right?

That already exists, as a product called MethodMadness, also from
Committed Software.

The part I'm looking for is - at some point, a version of AutoDoc was
created, which generated an XML something. This was done on contract
for 4D, Inc. to be part of the 4D-DreamWeaver interface so that you
could insert 4D table/fields into HTML code being created in
DreamWeaver.
