Hello,
There is no problem in running jasypt on AS/400 as long as you have JSE version 1.4 or newer and your IBM java virtual machine implements the Java Cryptography Extensions. All you have to do is correctly choose the algorithms and/or security providers from your specific implementation of the JVM. Have a look at the cyptography documentation for your specific JVM for knowing your available algorithms.

I have been told I can not use jasypt on as/400...I'm unable to find any
information. Is there someone who can confirm that jasypt can not be used
in java program running on as/400. Download states platfrom independence...
