Have you tried searching the archives? This has been discussed a time
or two (or ten, or a hundred). Short answer is No, the JP6 is not
remotely a six-voice JP8. There are many differences.

is one of the finest analog poly's to be had anywhere. But it's still
not a six-voice JP8.
Perhaps someone else on the list can help you with the current-pricing
question...
