Hi Allan

Barclays offer OFX downloads in the UK.  I've been using them with KMyMoney for years.

A year ago I changed bank to one that offered OFX support - Nationwide.

I've now found out that they have ceased to offer this service!! The
reason? MS have done no development on MSMoney since 2005, and they, MS,
no longer offer support for it in the UK. Well done, MS, you've screwed
me even though I don't use you. Of course, I pointed out to the bank
that I did not require their support, apart from their provision of the
server, but I don't expect any change of heart.

Of course I could switch to csv download, using the scripts I recently
posted, but that would have to be a last resort, I think.  So, can any
UK reader please name any other bank which still offers OFX support,
either direct connect or download. It looks like I'll have to vote with
my feet.

Hi Graham

Thanks for that.  I've been checking without success so far, but hadn't
got to Barclays yet.  Must have a look.

Do they just do downloads, or direct connect?

Hi Allan

Just downloads I think.  They also require the login to use one of those chip and pin devices to generate a pass code when logging in.

Ulsterbank in Ireland offers OFX downloads, so Natwest should too as they own Ulsterbank.
