I too is the same at Banshee 1.4 in Ubuntu Intrepid

This is regardless of whether I am listening to a Last.FM stream, or am scrobbling material from my own collection. The only way to re-connect is to shut Banshee down, wait about 15 minutes then re-start. Does anybody have an idea as to what is going on?
