I can understand why people are jumping to Bibble, since it possesses the
key advantage of actually being current for Linux. However, I've never
considered it a full and adequate replacement for LZ, chiefly because it
lacks selective or regional editing. Its UI is also, to put it charitably,
often less than intuitive, it's had its fair share of bugs and the support
via the forums has been a little brusque or outright hostile on occasion
while failing to address the underlying issues (so...not that different to
LZ perhaps - Linux users seem to have a talent for winding up developers
;-). And Bibble 5 might be a free upgrade, but it's a long time coming.

Bibble is a decent product (and the nexi.com plugins are great) and I'm
glad it's available for Linux, but it's not the answer to the current,
hopefully temporary, absence of LZ.
