Hi Marcelo,
You can generate maps for XCSoar using XCSoar's terrain generator - just
enter the LAT/LON of the area, or give it your waypoint file.
http://xcsoar.dd.com.au/cgi-bin/terrain.pl (I've never tried it for
Argentina, but it should work.)
I'd recommend:
1) use the XCM file format - this includes both terrain and topology in
one file
2) make the map area as small as possible. You can experiment later
with larger maps, but there are some subtleties with large maps that can
be avoided by defining the smallest map that covers your flying
area.
3) keep the terrain generator web page open until it's finished and
displays a link to your map file -- sometimes the email notification has
difficulties
