You are right, this is opencores. Why are then people not able to
download the code from opencores, but dig out old emails that get quoted
over and over again, asking for that code?

I am curious what happened to all those requesters, as they all state
that they have to develop a MP3 core. Wouldn't that generate numerous
cores and as this is opencores, shouldn't they all appear here?
