Doug, thanks for your pointer. There's no C:\Documents and Settings[username]\Application Data in Vista but figured out the equivalent is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming. Tomboys works and I'm happy :-)

You should be able to safely move your entire tomboy directory over.
Make sure to restart tomboy.
