Hi Jeremy,
I would look into your minimal example - but there is no attachement with your
file, it either got lost or you didn't send it ...

Moreover, the following information would be helpful:
- what version of gnuplot are you working with,
- what is your system basis (linux / windows / mac),

if you really want to see the pictures above - use some font
with constant spacing like courier! :-)
