I've been using the 6.0 daily builds for a couple of months now on
jdk6 (64 bit) and I have never seen this phenomenon! In fact, the
NB6.0 / jdk 6 combo is more stable than the NB5 /jdk5 combo in my
environment.
If it's a jdk problem you should be getting an error log in your home
directory with a name like hs_err_pidxxxxxx.log. If you're not
getting any logs it's not a jdk problem probably.
