Account Number at that position is wrong. The Routing number can be a local
number and the BIC is more of an international routing number.

We need to rework all the screenshots and want to do that from a single box to
make them all look alike (theme and style wise). So no need to supply an
update here.

Well, both are required. The BIC is the Bank Identifier Code and identifies
the institution whereas the IBAN is the International Bank Account Number and
identifies the account with the bank.
So the text
"This will bring up the following dialog in which to enter your account number
and the bank’s IBAN
number. These fields may be left blank and filled in at a later time; they are
only required for online
banking. To proceed to the next step click on Next."
is just wrong at this point. The dialog should contain the bank information,
not the account information. They also might be needed for online banking. In
today's version of KMyMoney they are simply documentation.

So the BIC is stored with the institution and the IBAN with the account.
Maybe, a link to the above pages is helpful inside the KMyMoney documentation.
I don't like the one to a page with too many commercials anyway.
Hope that makes it clear.
