Yes, I also think it is kind of annoying, that you can't really use html
there.
And all your other points:
If you want to change all that, you would have to completely to restructure
how the help is shown, have to rewrite the texts (at least a part of them)
and ... make new pictures.
In this context beginning with the pictures does not seem to be clever.
Hmm, maybe this all will take quite a while.
But OK, then let's wait with that task.
