And here is a usage case:

I want to find out how many different recordings of "Star Sprangled
Banner" by Jimi Hendrix there are.

I want to do no more than enter
   Artist: "Jimi Hendrix"
   Title: "Star Sprangled Banner",
hit enter and select with max one klick what I am looking for (I am
looking for recordings, not for tracks on releases).

Then I want MusicBrainz to give me a list of all recordings sorted by
date. And not the kind of list it currently gives me at /taglookup.html.
This does not tell me at all which of these are the same and which are
different. If I am lucky the tilte of a bootleg album might tell me the
date and location of the recording, but official albums don't.

With one more klick I want to go to the details of one specific recording.
I want it to tell me which musicians played on that performance.

With one more klick I want to be able to have a listing of all albums,
this recording is on.
