Good news.

There'd have been more hints in the worker process log file - look there if you get further problems.

I have just repointed Grinder from c:\grinder-3.4.1 to c:\grinder-3.9.1 and get the error below when running a standalone agent.

Worked fine in 3.4.1

I’d appreciate any thoughts on where to start looking
