OK, first of all, we OSMers want share-alike because we want to hoard more
geodata. We really don't mind about movies which include 10 seconds of maps.


That said, my point of view is that share-alike should apply only to the data
nearing the maps you show - e.g. the shape and waypoints of the 1800 km ride
you draw on top of that.


Anyway, this is one of the borderline cases where the new license (ODbL) is
needed because CC-by-sa doesn't fit too well. Brendan, just know that there
has been a lot of talk about this kind of things here in the legal-talk
mailing list, and most people actually want to encourage this kind of use.
With the ODbL, the share-alike component dissapears as soon as you take the
map out of map editing software and into the video stream.
