Hey and thanks for clearing that up.
I copied the file remotes/mceusb/lircd.conf.mceusb to /etc/lircd.conf, and restarted lircd.
But still no go. I'm using mythtv, and the remote doesn't seem to work at all.
Starting mythfrontend prints "lircd-0.8.0[11192]: accepted new client on /dev/lircd" in /var/log/messages, but mythtv doesn't respond to the remote.
Any ideas what could be wrong? Possibly mythtv?
As you can see, mythtv connects to lircd, but either lircd doesnt send any data, or mythtv doesnt read any data.
"cat /dev/lircd"
returns:
"cat: /dev/lircd: No such device or address"
no errors regarding lircd in mythfrontend output.
