Am I all alone here?

I've added my patches to the icewm sourceforge tracker although activity
seems to be absent there, too.

Is IceWM still being developed?

You are not alone. IceWM is still being developed, but not so fast as
it was in the past. That is a pity, but this normally happens with
open source projects that are targeted to a limited number of
potential users. Some projects actually die this way, especially when
the main developers are not willing to giveaway the control to anyone.
This happened to WindowMaker. I think that there is now a kind of fork
of it, but I cannot recall who maintains it and where because I
stopped using it long time ago. Speaking of IceWM, for some of my
patches it took about half a year to be accepted. This is not perfect
but definitely better than complete ignorance...

Like any project, unless the developers are being PAID, they often
lose interest after a while...(or in this case YEARS) I guess partly
because accolades are few and far between and complaints and bugs are
always around. I personally hope IceWm never gets dumped...what else
would I use ???
