Laura,

Yes several people in the department have pendragon licenses. More
specifically the High Mountain Lake (HML) project has used it for
several years for their stream surveys. The primary contacts are Curtis
Milliron and Mitch Lockhart.
A few things to note:
There is also an emulator available for Palm that works with
Pendragon.
Pendragon last I checked used a per unit license in addition to the
developer license.
The current setup(HML) syncs data to a SQL server directly, so it
only works with an internet connection available. This doesn't mean you
can't implement some other method.

Contact the HML project and keep us up to date on how your testing
goes.

Hi Alex,
I was just wondering if anyone within the department currently owns a
Pendragon license.  I remember someone at the Data Collection meeting
talking about Pendragon but he was with the USGS right?  I was just at a
meeting of some people who are slightly interested in expanding how they
collect data with their palms.  They seem interested in Pendragon but
don't really seem to want to spend the money.  They wanted me to find
out if there are any unused Pendragon licenses floating around the
deparment that they could use to check it out and test it (I also told
them about the 14 day trial version).
Thanks, Laura
