Hi toby thanks for you work...I have a problem that I cant solve and I hope you can help me.
I have installed all you package and I try the simple.cfg and it work.
i read that to test the plugin i had to try the file fasr.world but i have that:

Libtool error: file not found. Can't open your plugin controller. Quitting
err: Failed to open "source  100 1". Check that it can be found by searching the directories in your STAGEPATH environment variable, or the current directory if STAGEPATH is not set.]
 (/build/buildd/stage-4.0.0/libstage/model_load.cc LoadControllerModule)
libtool error #2

I had to do an "export STAGEPATH=/usr/lib"? I think that the package where the program is installed is the same of your and the stagepath is already set right...
I thank you in advance for your answer...

Hi,
There is no step by step guide using the packages that I know of, if
you felt like adding one to the wiki that would be great. If you want
to use my ppa packages, you will find there here:
https://launchpad.net/~thjc/+archive/ppa . About halfway down the page
there is a 'Read about installing' link that should be fairly easy to
follow.
I
You will want the stage and robot-player packages. There may be newer
packages in the repo as well, particularly for player, that shouldn't
be an issue as they should be built with the same options etc.
