Subject: Re: Powered wheelchairs
with Seat raiser and tilt.
Newton Products had a prototype
paediatric powered chair at this years PMG National Training event. Based on
their Cub chassis it had powered seat raise and tilt-in-space.

I am looking for a reasonably priced Paediatric powered wheelchair
that has a power tilt and seat raise facility. This is without straying into
Class 3 territory . We have considered an Invacare Spectra , but this is not
available in childrens sizes. Has any one come across this sort of problem.
Also would you consider a seat riser to be viewed as a Clinical need ?It would
be good to hear from you . Regards Tony Lewis. SRE Dorset wheelchairs .Tel
