I did have it running, and I have it running on my office computer, but I had occasion to do a reinstallation on the laptop which seems to have broken things. ./configure works fine, but when I try to make the package I get the following error;

Try one of the following:

        1) if you need OpenGL support, make sure glu.h /libGLU is installed;

        2) if you don't, just pass --with-opengl=no on configure.  This will stub-out the
           opengl widgets.

Hope this helps,
