Because the JBoss developers didn't implement all of the features of JEE5 in 4.0.4 (eg, injection of resources into servlets).
Netbeans won't let you override that, b/c the netbeans developers don't use JBoss4.0.4, so they don't realize how annoying some of their choices are.
