Hi Ronak,

I did see this same slowdown when accessing some snapshot directories in our http://repository.sonatype.org instance, with upwards of 200+ unique timestamped versions in there for one artifact in particular.

I have written up the following jira ticket in response to that. We will update this ticket as we work on it

I am having an issue of Nexus rendering a URL particularly slow for certain URLs. Has anyone seen this and could offer some advice?

One reliable way for us to reproduce this problem is as follows:

Navigate to a URL in snapshots repo that has many time stamped artifacts

Many = 234 files (including artifacts, md5, metadata)

Slow = 17 seconds to access the URL vs. 2-3 seconds for other URLs with similar artifacts on a different Nexus server.

Below are the lines from the nexus.log I see scroll buy as users hit the URL in question:
